Biloela Eisteddfod Society Inc. currently hosts each year  two (2) major regional Eisteddfods – May and September at the Biloela Civic Centre.  These events draw competitors and their

families from across the Central Queensland region and beyond -  Rockhampton,

Gladstone, Emerald, Yeppoon, Bundaberg.

Biloela Eisteddfod offers all children, young

adults and not-so-young adults the opportunity to perform, compete and learn through Eisteddfods and Workshops.  These opportunities also help to build confidence and self-esteem either individually or as part of a group.

Variety Concert

Biloela Eisteddfod Variety Concert held at the conclusion of May Eisteddfod, gives opportunities for many of the performers to showcase their many talents to an appreciative audience.  Over the years our performers continue to give and share their love of the arts within our community.  Some performers began their careers in Biloela and are now professionals in their chosen fields – State, National and International levels.

Today,  Biloela Eisteddfod is the only cultural event of its kind within the Banana Shire.  Banana Shire  is located in Callide and Dawson Valleys in Central Queensland also covers smaller towns of Thangool, Moura, Theodore, Taroom, Jambin, Goovigen, Wowan and Baralaba.
